So after reading the WU I caught up on the JV scenes from friday and epi today... First and foremost tg for small mercies they kept some medical facts alive. Multiple fibrosis does impact the uterine lining aka endometrium.. and Also one can only find out after a mock trial or starting the estrogen injections of IVF and regular ultrasounds how the endometrium is forming.. For fictional purposes they went through half a cycle and declared uterus unfit but in reality doctors play around with inducer options to see if the uterus can be made ready for implantation..

Science apart. The display of the basic pain and heartbreak of an unfulfilled dream, in fact the death of it and JVs silent tearful farewell to it.. hit hard.. I couldnt help shed a tear as Viren held a shattered Jeevika in the doc's cabin with a lone tear escaping his defenses in a cloud of their hazy dreams flashing by.. as flashbacks of their desires took over.. As distasteful as the abortion track was .. this was simply heartbreaking to see these two sitting huddled up.. helpless in the decree of fate.. 

Random OTT behna drama aside.. what I caught on while everyone was placating Jeevika for not being harsh on herself was Swamini's gaze on Viren.. while Jeevika's sorrow and heartbreak was heard and tended to .. there was one standing in the background whose dreams once again crashed amongst the "sounds of silence.." Reminded me of the Viren scene in the bathroom the night of abortion.. where he cried alone..

As he stood, pensive in front of the mandir trying to debate how to get through this especially how to come around for Jeevika I couldn't help choke at simply how lonely he is at times in the bane of his responsibilities as the elder son, husband and guardian/ guide to the younger lots in the family.. Virat may have come to lend company and try to share the pain but Viren.. as he is.. is a closed wall.. who in turn only helped Virat see some realities of life even through his toughest phase as he still stood alone with his broken dreams..

Jeevika on the other hand, after her moment of venting with Manvi gathered her self and made it clear without doubt what exactly was "requiem for a  dream" .. not being able to have Her and Virenji's legacy.. more than the baby.. THEIR baby was the crux here.. Putting a brave front for the family, Jeevika always lay bare in front of her shield.. her mirror as she grabbed a dragging soul Viren (who was tired from his own grief..) only to use his shelter and cry for her loss.. their loss.. Although on the surface it seemed like they were collectively mourning their loss, somewhere it reminded me again of the night of abortion where Viren was there for her.. in spite of himself being imbalanced by the quirk of events.. As brilliant and hearbreaking as that 30 secs of JV scene was I simply hoped that Jeevika for a sec held her head high and wiped that lone tear of Viren's face.. coz he was lamenting just as much only silently.. 

The next day on the breakfast table.. he was still reticent, closed .. there for others but standing alone..  While the family mourned together .. Swamini and Dadaji's eyes had a special connect to Viren's alongside Virika's and the Wadera loss.. which filtered through.. in the way they Looked on.. in the way dadaji hugged the boy who has only been an embodiment of duty.. 

People complain most times that JV never have a happy track but quoting P.B. Shelley

"Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thought."

The brilliance and diversity of Kryan filter in these moments of grief, sadness.. sweet misery..

P.S.- as the surrogacy nonsense begins.. I can't help but spare a moment to mourn over another loss.. the loss of a precious story in my mind which I pictured with Kryan as protagonists.. that I have to date half-narrated to 2.. one called it BOLD hahaha.. I don't think I'll gather time or motivation to ever write it.. but in wake of SM's next track it will just stand raped and ridiculed.. a poignant love-story of 2 incomplete yet valiant (aka BOLD) individuals.. somethings just ring better in my head..

yesterday when the video played Viren turned for a second to look at Jeevika.. to see what her first reaction was.. Today when he saw both his mothers leave, he stood there with his head low.. no matter his innocence, he felt guilty of getting them to this juncture.. When Jeevika came to visit him. it was his inherent sense of shame for letting his family sit through this that made him ask the question more than the fear.. as Jeevika stumbled through her response he smiled at her shifting eyes.. the little hint of affection as he stared at her trying hard to maneuver was cute..

he was reassured at that point that SHE was THERE.. right by him and almost out of that little sense of relief he let out- it didnt matter if no one believed him.. as long as She had faith in his honesty

Which gets me to WHY WON'T SHE?

The episode made me revisit the virikavibe and the write up I did for the 1st year wedding anniversary.. and I had then written the same.. JV's essence lies in- simplicity, companionship, SHHER UNDERSTANDING.. that stemmed from HONESTY and TRANSPARENCY.. 

while reading through Virikavibe.. I was smiling at how many time I re-iterated that it was more Viren's solid support.. that made the whole.. while J stumbled through her obstacles.. It was like someone wanted to give us the other end of the spectrum.. such that I sit down and continue Virikavibe.. but this time keeping Jeevika at the FULCRUM.. 

I am almost jittery to write.. hoping I do justice here. I have always been effusive and blatant about my liking of Viren's characterization.. but TODAY.. Jeevika stood ALONE.. JV was about Jeevika.. although viren's aura was with her throughout as the once docile, woman of few words took on each member of the family.. bared their lack of conviction and unfounded doubted.. and DEBATED like a Lawyer's wife.. putting logic where it was required.. My fave bit of reasoning was her telling Virat- the sudden turn of their conviction , till 2 days back their basis was V cant lie and thus he would have been responsible.. and now today when he is shouting his innocence its suddenly hard to believe.. 

rightly implied to each member- she held one point straight up- its not WHAT we perceive but What our PERCEPTION is that clouds our Vision

Jeevika was a wounded tigress today.. KD once again revelled in the opportunity and scope and had a field day with her range as an actor.. I knew I would enjoy this as soon as I saw her give the shrug and discomfort at Swamini's mere passing doubt.. I knew this was a winner of a sequence.. but VOILAAAA.. she switched between emotional breakdown, restlessness, dilemma, scourging for hope from one member to final outburst.. with an ease of a butter knife on a slice of cream cheese... I was jumping with excitement.. pumping invisible air hi5 at the moment she shut Manvi from even trying to open her idiotic gap.. and when she did.. LMAOOOO at the what is gonna happen if I went inside.. the hopeless attitude of the Wadera's was bad enough to be followed up with an inert piece of idiotic advice.. 

and THEN came my FAVE MOMENT.. I saw this bit 3 times.. coz It was just that unexpected.. flaring her nostrils.. Seething in anger.. CONSUMED by the ire inside her.. this was JEEVIKA.. we have seen her resilience before but not such active aggression.. this was a VISUAL TREAT.. to the point where she was choking, suffocating amidst the regressive minds of the family.. No hope.. DEFEAT staring at her

Although she ran out citing that she can't leave Viren alone in such times.. It was double edged.. it was more for her own flight.. of spirits.. she needed to breathe.. to live.. to think.. and to gain that STRENGTH.. and here came the full circle.. in the last 2 yrs through every challenge.. her intrinsic strength is Viren.. his aura.. his presence.. even now when its for him .. she needed his shelter.. one moment he followed in the direction of her thought that it could be all a set up.. Thats ALL SHE NEEDED.. to jump up instinctively.. towards her crusade.. time may be ticking but her spirit soared.. she had found her wings.. her courage.. 

only One goal in sight.. almost blinding her .. but she fled towards danger.. like a young fish takes to the sea.. 

ending with my believer mom's prosaic words- it takes STRENGTH and COURAGE to believe.. without a flinching doubt that a mind can raise (in this case collective minds).. And Courage She HAS

Amidst Chaos.. Conviction stands tall

Before I start.. I would have never imagined to see an epi of EHM where Jeevika lived up to her husband's essence- his STRONG UNWAVERING CONVICTION.. amidst utter chaos and confusion Viren always maintained clarity by virtue of his mind and conviction.. and today as he sits retired  hurt in the game of life.. the flag-bearer of his legacy is Mrs. Jeevika Viren Wadera.. 

I'll start with the closing ensemble.. where the tone was hypothetical- the what if... amidst all the IFs there was only one exception.. a voice of CERTAINTY.. a STRONG RESOLVE..

 I WILL.. 

get my partner back to where he belongs.. coz  there are no other accepted alternatives..

special mention to Swamz Jeevika scene.. it had the mentor- protege tone.. the guru chiding affectionately about accepted code of behavior.. I could literally see Swamz upbringing of viren in tht mini spiel.. to be noted.. is the point that Say what you want but in the PRIVATE CONFINES of home.. suggests she saw Jeevika's countering Manvi as legit but just not a fodder for media gossip..

coming to which khurafati M.. lolll sari duniya ka bheja bearer.. clearly when Beeji, J, Virat knew btr to stay off media , she had to open tht big idiotic gap.. sometimes I see no diff btw M ans sweety lollll ADHDs.. and by what pt of ref did she say Viren was reacting in a state of shock.. that is yet to be proven.. its a mere speculation for her to put a verbal stamp on.. lolll she can sit and judge him all she wants but wait for your turn to testify.. not once did J tell her to change her statement like vanshika.. she just  riled up tht manvi seemed to testify out of turn and out of court that amounts to defamation.. and this sudden sacchai ki murti manvi is such a farcry from Ms inherent lack of respect for rules.. she has always arm twisted scenarios to suit her whims from the begining.. lolll and here she doesnt careee to give benefit to an alternative lmaoooo.. send her to UK already.. lol

I have not lovedddd KDs stern, stoic, stone faced disdainful stance more than I did in the beeji M scene when she raised her concerns of Manvis stubborn doubts.. I was gaping through KDs blank teary forlorn eyes when she saw Swamz with the plate.. extremely phased, her mind  in a time travel shift and her heart constantly bleeding.. oblivious to the sight in front or what to make of it.. the way she looked at the supposed existing food plate that had no real context in her heart and mind

BRILLIANT.. Prouddddddddd of my girl.. she is acing the little nuances of acting... woopieee.. mwaahhh..

the last Viren bit did not find connect with me as the transition was shaky and rough.. from being stubborn about his statement to the extent of being uncaring to Js and his family's legit possible scenarios to suddenly getting to the melancholy was jerky.. they totally skipped a prudent Viren trait.. "retrospection"- now that there is evidence it is a trap.. was I too hasty to conclude stuff. should I have not been a little more open to Js pov..and then to.. was this a grave mistake? at the cost of separating from my wife.. my family.. THAT was missing the LINK..

i loveddd the J bit in the end for reasons I already mentioned.. but I loved the weeding pic even more.. lolll it wasnt a picture perfect JV pic but a spontaneous kryan moment.. amidst a convo lolll.. i alwayss loved that capture for its spontaneity.. 

looking fwd to I SPY.. J SPYY.. let the LONE WARRIOR begin her QUEST for Freedom.. of VIRENJI..

Ye safar : Jeevika's Solo journey

Couldn't help allude to the greatness of R.D. Burman.. when I watched the JV scene and its undercurrents.. again what was exchanged wasnt important.. the emotions, the helplessness and the silent resolve that danced in Js eyes were more commendable.. ever since EHM started in every tough situation we have seen J as the sheltering presence in Ms life. .the strong pillar that weathered many a storms but her resilience and recalcitrance remained intact.. but one thing that was the underlying reason was the silent yet strong presence of Viren- Js shelter.. this is probably the first time that Jeevika has to make a SOLO journey without the hand that she held in the past through all her problems.. her husband's.. and thats what makes it interesting.. this is the real test of her character.. 

Even for the love of JV I couldnt help give a look of disdain at all the suhaag ki kasam lines lolll.. but apart from that I did love how J requested viren to reconsider his statement.. REQUESTED coz she knows what his principles mean for him.. and my fave line was the bouncing back comeback in the end- I didnt take marriage vows to consider separation before it comes.. 

Atta Girl! go the extra mile.. 

It is extremely immaterial at least to me.. what Manvi does or thinks.. loll for all i care I would pay someone to sedate that ADHD long term so she sleeps while J takes on her quest.. the pissing off line was- Di aap bewajah pareshaan ho rahi hain.. HULLO.. BEWAJAH? am sorry her hubby is almost at the edge of being sentenced here.. and besides SOME PEOPLE DO LOVE their partners much more than comprehension. THAT is REASON ENOUGH.. And if she cares for her di's khushi.. she should keep her presence and gap away.. and what was the purpose of visiting Viren again here.. loll get that woman something to do.. what nonsense.. i loved the sarcasm of tht hawaldar dude tho.. lmaooo at 6 inch mattress.. (spring box too eh.. n comforter)

And talking of woman power.. GO SWAMZ GO! her line on yaha logon ko khane peene se fursat nahi roflmaooooooo.... too good.. I wonder if she feels to damn with these gfn spineless old wadera dudes.. I should have gotten that law degree would have served my son better.. 

sidenote- newbie boy finally makes official entry into baba club.. with his apic non-existent expressions.. oh dear goddd am on the brink of opening a relief fund for elementary acting course money.. LOL.. nvm I digress

If I think like a EHM creative.. I see M finding out Riya is alive by SEEING HER WITH HER OWN EYES.. lMAOOOO coz heck she is d only one who knows how riya looks.. there has to be a reason for that.. and this will soon become a behna co-op much to our collective chagrin.. I am sadistically entertained by Js epic comebacks to M currently.. loll and that blotched lip job look was apparently to show Dukhi M? lmaoooo maybe the woman needs to investigate lip color shades b4 butting into other's lives.. and while she is at it.. maybe just register for the next big makeover.. 

so the point is.. NOW its interesting when Jeevika has NO RESORT.. NO support (going by the precap).. the last little string pulled off after Viren too doesn't support her conviction.. what people visualize as her weakness and edginess is actually her strength.. her single point faith that this cant be real.. Had I written the story.. I would have involved a rookie street lawyer aka Sunny Deol in Damini types.. in Js quest.. who helps her through the final stages after none of the wadera men do much.. J should openly voice mutiny and go about it independently.. and seek the help of some rookie outsider who just like her has nothing to lose by taking on this 'open n shut' case.. it would have made for a real interesting cameo.. new and fresh interactions.. but thats asking for too much.. by EHM standards.. but till the shoot my brain behna nonsense starts.. I'll live in my creative bubble while R.D.Burman's music and Shivaji's epic voice plays in the bg

Where FAITH (JV) resides... Doubt stands orphaned..

Now that my mom's one-liners are so well received by my regulars.. LOL.. let me start with her CONVICTION (needless to say although I dont share her spiritualism .. I am amazed by her convictions and faith in it).. coz with  sheer certainty in her eyes she tells me-

No point for guessing.. why this is the theme.. the intrinsic FAITH that Jeevika, Swamini and Vanshika have in Viren.. make him blessed.. 

they say A MAN is known by the women in his life.. and the 3 women in Viren's life- his mothers and his mate know him better than he can vouch for himself.. and that is called CONVICTION.. to an extent that forget the reality the 3 women are APPALLED that ANYONE could even for a second doubt Viren's honesty and fidelity.. eyes and perceptions be damned.. 

2 of my fave bits-

One, finally Jeevika telling Manvi to buzz off with her qualified perception.. the MAN she has come to know, love and become a part of is not just her essence.. he is HER PRIDE.. he is HER FAITH.. and anyone who keeps a low opinion of her PRIDE.. deserves NO presence in her vicinity.. Clear cut.. no nonsense.. I LOVE FIESTY J.. I am not gonna even waste my time trying to convince you or anyone against yer POV.. but spare me your presence and take your perception out the door.. coz the room you are in.. has NO PLACE for disrespect.. towards the RELATIONSHIP that dwells.. I wld have personally slapped her again for daring to walk into THEIR ROOM.. with her low opinion and moping nonsense.. I am not even gonna bother spending any writing space on Manvi's self reliant mediocrity and Virat's ludicrous shoulder waiting for MIRACLE TO HAPPEN (lmaooo now that we KNOW my brother pushed a stranger.. utterly imbecile.. bachche my foot.. GADHE HAIN YE.. like they say Kids can grow up.. but fools never do)

and of course my fave bit was the split JV scene.. that made me revisit this song.. and who better than JV to embody it..

In his solitude.. all Viren cared for is Jeevika.. while he had confidence in her faith in him.. he couldnt help but wonder how much pressure was on that girl.. the whole world waiting to prey.. to convince her otherwise.. and just the mere thought of what she fell weak to the collective antagonism was more unnerving for him than his own fate..

I need not elaborate on Jeevika's conviction on her VIRENJI.. she did not just affectionately bestow him the respect.. she has LIVED it each min.. I cant help coming back to this everytime about JV.. what makes them sooo surreal.. 2 people got to know the other in their short but strong journey together.. but in the process began to explore and understand what they were capable of.. of knowing one-self in the other's company.. That's companionship.. 

their simplicity is their strength NOT weakness and I come to my mom's way of life yet again.. she believes.. doubting is no way to live.. even if that means you are betrayed.. 2 simple humans- JV.. dont believe in doubting anyone.. least of it themselves.. and THAT is their strength.. in darkness.. their simplicity.. their HONESTY.. and THAT'S why I love JV..

P.S. ending where I began..  the strength that filtered through Js eyes as she questioned Dadaji's reasoning.. and in all his glory that man of experience had no other option but to lower his gaze..

lmaooo at inspectors face to check how many members this family has.. and the look of exasperation ' oh god these celebrity sinners lmaooo and their high maintenance families.. who are doing a favor by letting their son under custody' roflmaoooo

pitiful technicalities-

so the jail scene had 8 actors and one inspector.. and I feel like only the inspector was constant in the 490382 diff shots.. apart from stuck at the hips behnas of course.. all other actors looked like they had separate shots or ehm got a sudden budget hike and each actor got their own camera with solo angle shots lmaooooo .. the reactions were amiss.. on most accounts.. most actors had the same look on their faces.. the body language reactions were way off.. I did like the look KT had when he lifted his head to look at the family.. and definitely KDs shattered, broken look is a winner.. it was after the abortion.. and it was now..

By a legion I had to stretch my imagination as to why Viren is so stuck on I killed her.. apart from the fact that he knew she wasnt going to commit suicide coz in some contrived logic in the madcap's skull she wanted to await her hubby by the edge of a cliff.. lmaoooo but jokes apart if Viren hadnt shown urgency and stepped forward the woman wouldnt have receded and in some weird way Viren is entitled to think he catalyzed the reaction.. oh innocent child no one is complaining here LOL

again the whole comprehension dawns on Jeevika and she starts behaving erratic much to the dismay of the hassled inspector LOL.. but then again.. the last look Viren gives  is off in timing coz the family has mostly moved out of the door.. what was the purpose here..

who are directing these epis.. 1st year drama school interns?

Next weird Jargon is M crying to Virat that how do we save Viren when we saw him PUSH riya off the cliff.. dude.. what are you smoking? lmaooo or are you night blind.. you clearly SAW some other ANGLE here lol

finally.. the Manvi Multiplicity..

 Finally, brownie point to KD for having that fixed broken look.. when she lost her child.. she lost a part of her.. and the impending thought of losing Viren is just as unnerving.. its like her life's foundation has been shaken.. he was her unstinted silent pillar through the turbulence of her life in the past yr or so.. the only stable factor.. cant wait for the precap.. not that it would serve much purpose there is more air in Ms brain than one can suck out.. with any semblance.. what was she thinking.. implying to the elder MALE family members something so disrespectful.. what is such a biggg deal about Viren lying to HER.. as long as J knew it all.. Ms perennial problem is taking herself too seriously.. lol.. I dont believe the level of wtfery in the script to make her come and say sorry after pretty much making a public ridicule of her sister's PRIDE.. HER HUSBAND.. and more so HER JIJU.. who apparently has been HER FATHER FIGURE.. judge and analyze your father so easy eh.. again reminds me of mom:

So I come home after yet another 13 hrs of madness.. sitting with dinner and tapping my fingers itching to watch Friends or The office but my stupid affection for KD.. heard she did well.. So I TOOK THE DIVE.. (well at least someone did.. tht Khai was waiting forever now LOL)

EHM epi(c) starts- mad woman with fittingly magical hair spray (kabhi frizzy... kabhi straight) screaming random bull crap hits the wooden separator.. w/e.. n tears both her sleeves (purani Ridz ke hain.. lmaooo dekhe se hi phat jaayenge.. dude been 10 yrs.. now dont ask me which Ridz.. m in d middle of one murder she wrote already).. ok focus.. mad car chase.. all the while moi thinking..wow the new girl makes weird faces.. tb ko cumpteesan... but why should she win.. new boy comes in.. same plastic exp.. screaming the golden name.. (Riya.. pyaar tune ye kya kiyaa.. ufff ye Ishqqqq) and asks random ppl on the road.. abt wifey.. one even more random viewers goes yeah saw her chased by a man.. (aunty ankhein hain ya lazer scanner.. ghadi ka brand nahi dekha.. yahi to maar kha gayi junta..)
